The Doctrines of Grace – Limited Atonement

Did Jesus die to atone for all the sins of all people? All the sins of some people? Some of the sins of some people?

What was the extent of the atonement of Christ? Should we be universalists? These are some of the questions that lead to many of our most heated discussions as Christians with Arminians calling Calvinists evil and cruel and demonic and Calvinists calling Arminians/Molinists heretics and Pelagians.

This is the topic of this episode of the Freed Thinker Podcast as we continue our series on the Reformed Doctrines of Grace, better known as Calvinism.

You can download the show in iTunes or Stitcher or stream it from the blog.

Doctrines of Grace – The Atonement

http://freedthinkerpodcast.blogspot.com/2015/11/the-doctrines-of-grace-atonment.html

In this episode we continue our series looking at the Reformed Doctrines of Grace otherwise known as the doctrines of Calvinism. Next time we will be looking at the doctrine known as Limited Atonement so for this episode we are looking at the intent of the atonement. I argue that we cannot understand the EXTENT of the atonement unless we understand the INTENT of the atonement.

Doctrines of Grace – Total Depravity

In this episode of the show, we start a series dealing with the  Doctrines of Grace (typically called Calvinism). Getting some of these concepts in place will not only help resolve some of the recent debates on Molinism that the apologetical world has been engaged in, but also sets the stage for what I think are more robust and biblical answers to objections based on the problem of evil, suffering, and the “God is a moral monster” brand of argumentation.

Reformation Day Discussion – Molinism (Part 2)

Happy Reformation Day everybody!

In this edition of the show, we are actually a Part II of a conversation I had with Rob Johnson of the Apologetics105 blog and podcast. We discuss everything from our eerily similar conversions, to atheistic fundamentalist David McAfee, but the main topics for the show are Molinism, Arminianism and Calvinism.

To listen to the show just find us on iTunes, the Stitcher app, or stream the episode from http://thefreedthinker.podbean.com/e/reformation-day-discussion-molinism-part-2/ or at www.christusvictornetwork.com! So many great ways to hear the content of this podcast!

You can catch Part I of the show by listening to Apologetics105 on iTunes or streaming it from Podbean. For more information on his show, find him on the Apologetics105 Facebook group or from his blog at www.apologetics105.com.
